CNA Training Schedule

  • May 1 – June 16  (Clinical June 5-16 – 2nd shift)

The class will meet MWF evenings, in-person for six weeks, four hours each day, with additional work outside of class.

As a blended class/lab, this means you will be attending class 4 hours a day, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings from 5-9pm and getting homework. This will include reading in the book, watching skills videos, doing assignments, etc. Please let us know if you don’t have a computer or tablet at home. All quizzes will be taken in class. At this time, masks are to be utilized at the discretion of the Neway Directions instructor. Mask use in clinical settings may or may not be related to COVID-19, and it is expected for all students to comply with their instructor’s recommendations for the safety of students and patients alike.

The 6th week of class will include minimally 16 hours at a nursing home and clinical simulation in our lab. There is no class on Memorial Day (May 29th).
