CNA Training Schedule

 

Due to high demand and much-needed healthcare workers, we are offering another section of C.N.A. Training in 2020 along with the December 28-January 15 class, which has a wait list.

  • November 30 – December 18 

The class will meet Monday-Friday, face to face from 8 am 12 pm with additional work outside of class.

We have created a blended class/lab due to Covid-19. So this means you will be attending 4 hours a day, Monday-Friday and getting homework. This will include reading in the book, watching skills videos, doing assignments, etc. Please let me know if you don’t have a computer or tablet at home. All quizzes will be taken in class. We will be taking temperatures every day and wearing masks.

The 3rd week of class may include clinical time at a nursing home (if we are allowed in) and/or clinical simulation in our lab. We will not know until we get close to the clinical time.

  • December 28 – January 15 (Clinical Jan. 11-15)

The class will meet Monday-Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm the first two weeks. The last 40 hours of training will be meeting at the clinical site or clinical simulation. This schedule will be discussed on the first day of class.

You will begin work during the first shift at the clinical site. The first shift starts between 6:00-7:00 am depending on which location you are assigned to. The timing and location will be determined in the first week of training.

There will be no class on January 1 and classes will return on January 9.

C.N.A. Winter/Spring 2021 Training

  • February 15 – March 5 (Clinical March 1-5 – 1st shift)

(3 weeks, M-F, 8 hrs each day)

The class will meet Monday-Friday, in-person from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. with additional work outside of class.

We have created a blended class/lab due to Covid-19. So this means you will be attending 8 hours a day, Monday-Friday and getting homework.   • March 29 – April 16 (Clinical April 12-16 – 1st shift)

The class will meet Monday-Friday, in-person from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m with additional work outside of class.

  • April 17 – May 22 (Clinical May 19-22 – 1st shift, Sat-Wed.)

The class will meet over the weekends, in-person from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m with additional work outside of class.
