CNA Training Schedule Madison, WI

If you’re interested in any healthcare profession, getting your nursing assistant certification is a great way to begin your career. Our CNA certificate program consists of either a full-time 3-week training or a part-time 6-week long evening program.

March 11 – March 29 (Clinical March 25 & 26 (Mon/Tues) from 6:00am-3:00pm)

The class will meet in-person Monday – Friday for two weeks from 8:00am to 1:00pm at Neway Directions, with additional work outside of class. There will also be an in-class/lab March 27 through March 29 (Wed/Thurs/Friday) from 8:00am to 1:00pm, with additional work outside of class. The clinical will take place March 25 and 26 (Monday/Tuesday) from 6:00am to 3:00pm. 

As a blended class/lab, this means you will be attending class four hours a day and getting homework. This will include reading in the book, watching skills videos, doing assignments, etc. Please let us know if you don’t have a computer or tablet at home. All quizzes will be taken in class. At this time, masks are to be utilized at the discretion of the Neway Directions instructor. Mask use in clinical settings may or may not be related to COVID-19, and it is expected for all students to comply with their instructor’s recommendations for the safety of students and patients alike.

The 3rd week of class will include minimally 16 hours at a nursing home and clinical simulation in our lab.

April 8 – April 26 (Clinical April 22 & 23 (Mon/Tues) from 6:00am-3:00pm)

There will also be an in-class/lab August 8 and 12 (Thurs/Monday) from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, with additional work outside of class. The clinical will take place July 31, August 1, 5, and 7 (Monday/Tuesday) from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
