Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Class – Prairie Du Sac, WI
Class Details
August 10 – August 21, 2020 (Clinical August 24-28 – 1st shift)
Classroom/lab will be held at Wellspring, 90 Oak St, Prairie Du Sac, WI 53578
The class will meet Monday-Friday from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm the first two weeks. The last 40 hours of training will be meeting at the clinical site or clinical simulation. This schedule will be discussed on the first day of class.
You will begin work during the first shift at the clinical site. The first shift starts between 6:00-7:00 am depending on which location you are assigned to. The timing and location will be determined in the first week of training.

A CNA works directly under the direction of a nurse to provide patients with basic care services, from daily grooming to checking vital signs, while ensuring the safety and comfort of the patient. A CNA is responsible for notifying the nursing staff of vital information regarding the patient’s condition both physically and mentally. CNA’s help patients to feel comfortable and secure in their environment.
You will have to take the Wisconsin State CNA Certification test. Go to the link TMU emailed you the first day of class to complete personal information and pay the testing fee.
